The 15K and 5K courses are paved, rolling, and free from most, but not all, vehicular traffic. The 6.5-Mile Trail Race is a moderately challenging off the road event. All courses are very scenic and take participants past many of the Park's historic sites, monuments and markers. Participants are responsible for knowing the course. Please obey the instructions of Park Rangers and race officials. There will be more than 100 volunteers helping with the Chickamauga Chase, however participants are responsible for their own safety. Remember, the Park's roads remain open to vehicles during the race, although traffic is usually light. Baby Joggers/Strollers are NOT allowed in the 15K, Trail Race, or 5K events, but they are very much encouraged on the Scenic Walk.
